Well all the daisies buttercups and dandelions are out now, aren’t they pretty they are not weeds are they! Do you remember making a wish with a dandelion seed head, what did you wash for, did your wish come true?
Spring Weeds!
would you push up the daisies
what on earth does that mean
there are lots of buttercups and daisies
on the grass to be seen
buttercups and daisies
dandelions too
lets make a great big wish
blow the seed head
your dreams may come true
do you remember those dreamy days
sitting in the sun
on the grass it was fun
these pretty flowers
we often called them weeds you know
as we jumped and played
we rarely felt low
but time moves on we all get older
If not much wiser surely a bit bolder
nothing surprises us
as we travel through our day
and don’t now listen in wonder
at what people say
We take each day with a pinch of salt
And dream of the dreams that could never be bought
As many a time we would blow that dandelion seed head
And wait in abate at what could lie ahead
Scatter it around the sky
And the next day
Wonder why
Our wishes never came true
It was all a big farce
As we rally our lives
With gifts of a chance
So luck would have it
All in a dish
Oh I wish
My dandelion wishes had come true!
How about you?
And if they did
What would they be?
Please don’t keep it secret
Tell them to me!
Where would you be not reading this rhyme
If things had been different in the passage of time?
Bye for now
I wish you fond farewell
For the future does hold
Things we can never really tell!
